There are over 160 million orphans in the world. That is one reason my wife and I are passionate about helping families adopt children. For children not to become an orphan in the first place would be best. To do this you have to change their environment and teach skills that will change not only their life but many generations to come. This is why I support LY2NK. They are helping create an environment where communities can learn to support themselves for many lifetimes right where they are.
One of the secrets to success is, “Find a hole and fill it.” LYNK has done an amazing job of doing exactly this. The ‘hole’ that LYNK has identified is that brilliant and important efforts in philanthropy do not thrive in the absence of leadership.
